Terms Used In Indiana Code 35-33-14-1

  • Extradition: The formal process of delivering an accused or convicted person from authorities in one state to authorities in another state.
  • Sheriff: means the sheriff of the county or another person authorized to perform sheriff's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
   Sec. 1. There is established in each county a county extradition and sheriff‘s assistance fund.
