Sec. 55. (a) An
applicant for qualification who knowingly makes a false statement with respect to the applicant’s financial worth in an
application for qualification, financial statement, or other written instrument filed by the applicant with the
entity under this chapter commits a Class C infraction.

- application: means the act of filing a statement with an entity to request qualification to perform work. See Indiana Code 36-1-9.5-4

(b) A person who violates this section is disqualified from submitting bids on contracts advertised for letting by the entity for two (2) years following the date of judgment.
