Sec. 14. As used in this chapter, “subject property” means primary or secondary property or existing or proposed construction on the property:

(1) that is the subject of:

Terms Used In Indiana Code 36-7-11.3-14

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • commission: refers to a preservation commission created under this chapter. See Indiana Code 36-7-11.3-2
  • Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • secondary property: means property within an area designated as a secondary area by the legislative body. See Indiana Code 36-7-11.3-11
(A) a filing made with;

(B) a hearing or meeting of; or

(C) an appeal from;

the commission; or

(2) with respect of which there is claimed to be a violation of this chapter.
