Sec. 29. (a) A lessor corporation proposing to build solid waste disposal facilities, including the necessary equipment and appurtenances, shall, after the execution of the lease, submit to the unit plans, specifications, and estimates for the facilities. The plans and specifications shall be submitted to the Indiana department of health and must be approved in writing by the state department and by the unit before the execution of the lease.

Terms Used In Indiana Code 36-9-30-29

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

     (b) This section does not prohibit the unit from contracting for the preliminary engineering design work necessary to initiate the planning and engineering of the solid waste disposal facilities, and making provisions for payment for these services.
