Terms Used In Indiana Code 4-20.5-7-4.6

  • Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
  • Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
     (b) A deed described by this section that has not been accepted by each of the officials required to accept the deed:

(1) conveys the property described in the deed; and

(2) is legalized.
