Sec. 13. (a) Except as provided in subsections (b), (c), and (d), a member of the commission is not entitled to any compensation for serving on the commission.

Terms Used In Indiana Code 4-23-34-13

  • commission: means the Indiana semiquincentennial commission established by section 2 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 4-23-34-1
     (b) Each member of the commission who is not a state employee is entitled to reimbursement for traveling expenses as provided under IC 4-13-1-4 and other expenses actually incurred in connection with the member’s duties as provided in the state policies and procedures established by the department of administration and approved by the budget agency.

     (c) Each member of the commission who is a state employee but who is not a member of the general assembly is entitled to reimbursement for traveling expenses as provided under IC 4-13-1-4 and other expenses actually incurred in connection with the member’s duties as provided in the state policies and procedures established by the department of administration and approved by the budget agency.

     (d) Each member of the commission who is a member of the general assembly is entitled to receive the same per diem, mileage, and travel allowances paid to members of the general assembly serving on interim study committees established by the legislative council.
