- Concurrent resolution: A legislative measure, designated "S. Con. Res." and numbered consecutively upon introduction, generally employed to address the sentiments of both chambers, to deal with issues or matters affecting both houses, such as a concurrent budget resolution, or to create a temporary joint committee. Concurrent resolutions are not submitted to the President/Governor and thus do not have the force of law.
Sec. 3. Upon completion of a Renewal Term, as applicable, this Compact shall renew for an additional Renewal Term if, at least three hundred sixty-five (365) days prior to the expiration of the Renewal Term then in effect, the Band serves written notice on the State requesting that the Compact be renewed for an additional Renewal Term, unless at least three hundred sixty-five (365) days prior to the expiration of the Renewal Term then in effect, the General Assembly of the State, by concurrent resolution, rejects the renewal of this Compact for the additional Renewal Term.
