- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
- minor: means a person less than eighteen (18) years of age. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
Sec. 1. A person who is less than eighteen (18) years of age may not purchase a lottery ticket. However, this does not prohibit the purchase of a lottery ticket for the purpose of making a gift to a minor.
