(1) induces another person to assign or transfer a right to claim a prize;

Under the Indiana Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:Class | Prison | Fine |
---|---|---|
Class A misdemeanor | up to 1 year | up to $5,000 |
(2) offers for sale the right to claim a prize; or
(3) offers for compensation to claim the prize of another person;
commits a Class A misdemeanor.
