Sec. 6.2. As used in this chapter, “public school corporation” means either of the following:
(A) school city;
(1) A local public school corporation established under Indiana law, including a:

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
(B) school town;
(C) metropolitan school district;
(D) consolidated school corporation;
(E) county school corporation;
(F) community school corporation; and
(G) united school corporation.
(2) A charter school (as defined in IC 20-24-1-4).
