Terms Used In Indiana Code 5-10-13-4
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, “political subdivision” means a county, township, town, city, separate municipal corporation, special taxing district, or public school corporation.
