Indiana Code 5-10-17-1. Application of chapter

Sec. 1. This chapter applies to an emergency medical services provider who is:

(1) employed by a municipal corporation; and

Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
emergency medical services provider: has the meaning set forth in IC 16-41-10-1. See Indiana Code 5-10-17-2

(2) not eligible for a disability benefit under IC 36-8-6, IC 36-8-7, IC 36-8-7.5, or IC 36-8-8.
