Terms Used In Indiana Code 5-26-1-6
- commission: refers to the integrated public safety commission established under IC 5-26-2-1. See Indiana Code 5-26-1-1
- public safety agency: means a federal, state, or local governmental entity eligible to hold an authorization in a public safety radio service as set forth in Indiana Code 5-26-1-4
- system: refers to the Indiana statewide wireless public safety voice and data communications system. See Indiana Code 5-26-1-5
Sec. 6. As used in this article, “user agency” means a public safety agency or other entity that enters into an agreement with the commission to use the system.
