Terms Used In Indiana Code 6-6-1.1-404

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
   Sec. 404. No license may be issued to a foreign corporation unless it is properly qualified to do business in Indiana.
