Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, “alcohol server” means the following:

(1) A person who works on the licensed premises of a retailer permittee as a:

Terms Used In Indiana Code 7.1-3-1.5-1

  • Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • dealer permittee: means a person who holds a liquor dealer permit under Indiana Code 7.1-3-1.5-2
  • retailer permittee: means a person who holds a:

    Indiana Code 7.1-3-1.5-4

(A) manager;

(B) bartender; or

(C) waiter or a waitress.

(2) A person who works on the licensed premises of a dealer permittee as a:

(A) manager; or

(B) sales clerk.

(3) A person who is the proprietor of or is employed by an art instruction studio under IC 7.1-5-8-4.6 that serves wine brought into the studio by patrons.
