Sec. 3. The commission may issue a farm winery permit to a person who:
(2) desires to commercially manufacture wine; and
(1) is the proprietor of a farm winery;
Terms Used In Indiana Code 7.1-3-12-3
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(3) is either:
(A) an individual; or
(B) a partnership, limited liability company, or corporation domiciled in or admitted to do business in Indiana.
A farm winery permit shall be valid from July 1, of the then current year to June 30, of the following year.
