- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Sec. 6. As used in this chapter, “surviving corporation” means the corporation that remains after a merger of two (2) or more corporations under this chapter.
