Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, “distributed energy resource” means any resource located on the distribution system of an electricity supplier, on any subsystem of an electricity supplier, or behind an electricity supplier’s customer’s meter, including any of the following:
(1) Electric storage resources.
(2) Intermittent generation.
(3) Distributed generation.
(4) Demand response.
(5) Energy efficiency.
(6) Thermal storage.
(7) Electric vehicles and their supply equipment.
