Terms Used In Indiana Code 8-4-32-3
- Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Probate: Proving a will
- Summons: Another word for subpoena used by the criminal justice system.
Sec. 3. When the complaint is filed in the circuit court, superior court, or probate court under section 2 of this chapter, the clerk of the court shall issue a summons in the case as in other cases. The summons may be served by copy on any conductor on any train on the road passing into or through the county.
