Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 15 > Article 15 > Chapter 3 - Records of Deliveries and Purchases of Seed and Grain

  • buyer of grain: means a person, firm, limited liability company, or corporation regularly engaged in the business of buying grain or seed produced on a farm in Indiana. See Indiana Code 15-15-3-1
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
