• Allegation: something that someone says happened.
• applicable federal program: refers to the federal human resource programs for which the cabinet has authority to make recommendations as listed in section 4 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 4-3-27-1
• Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
• cabinet: refers to the governor's workforce cabinet established by section 3 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 4-3-27-2
• comprehensive care bed: means a bed that:

• comprehensive care health facility: means a health facility that provides:

• continuing care retirement community: means a health care facility that:

• Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
• Dismissal: The dropping of a case by the judge without further consideration or hearing. ^Source:

• health care facility: includes the following:

• health facility: refers to a health facility that is licensed under this article as a comprehensive care facility. See Indiana Code 16-28-15-3
• Month: means a calendar month, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
• MPH: refers to the management performance hub established by section 8 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 4-3-26-3
• nurse aide: means an individual who provides nursing or nursing related services to residents in the following:

  Indiana Code 16-28-13-1

• nursing facility: means a health facility that is certified for participation in the federal Medicaid program under Title XIX of the federal Social Security Act (Indiana Code 16-28-15-4
• office: refers to the office of Medicaid policy and planning established by Indiana Code 16-28-15-5
• other unlicensed employee: means :

• replacement facility: means a new comprehensive care health facility licensed under or subject to this article after July 1, 2015, that:

  Indiana Code 16-28-2.5-4

• under development: refers to a health facility license application:

  Indiana Code 16-28-2.5-5

• veteran: includes "Hoosier veteran" and applies to the construction of all Indiana statutes, unless the construction is expressly excluded by the terms of the statute, is plainly repugnant to the intent of the general assembly or of the context of the statute, or is inconsistent with federal law.
