Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 20 > Article 42 > Chapter 2 - County Administration of Congressional Township School Fund

  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • fund: refers to a congressional township school fund administered by a county. See Indiana Code 20-42-2-2
  • Interest rate: The amount paid by a borrower to a lender in exchange for the use of the lender's money for a certain period of time.   • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.

  • Verified: when applied to pleadings, means supported by oath or affirmation in writing. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
