Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 21 > Article 18.5 > Chapter 4 - Administration of Awards

  • Bequest: Property gifted by will.
  • Devise: To gift property by will.
  • Donor: The person who makes a gift.
  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
