Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 24 > Article 4 > Chapter 3 - Secondhand Watches
- Attorney: includes a counselor or other person authorized to appear and represent a party in an action or special proceeding. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- Consumer: shall be deemed to mean an individual, firm, partnership, association, limited liability company, or corporation who buys for his or its own use, or for the use of another but not for resale. See Indiana Code 24-4-3-1
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Person: shall be deemed to mean a person, firm, partnership, association, limited liability company, or corporation. See Indiana Code 24-4-3-1
