Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 28 > Article 6.1 > Chapter 3 - The Board of Trustees of Savings Banks Organized, Reorganized, or Operating before January 1, 1993

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • court: refers to the circuit court, superior court, or probate court of the county in which the savings bank is located. See Indiana Code 28-6.1-3-2
  • Probate: Proving a will
  • Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
