Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 32 > Article 28 > Chapter 5 - Release of Liens on Conveyance of Real Estate

Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
Grantor: The person who establishes a trust and places property into it.
Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
