- builder: means a person engaged in constructing new homes. See Indiana Code 36-1-22-1
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- person: means an individual, firm, limited liability company, corporation, association, or other legal entity. See Indiana Code 36-1-22-2
- Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- remodeler: means a person engaged in altering, repairing, restoring, maintaining, or modifying an existing residential dwelling. See Indiana Code 36-1-22-3
- residential dwelling: means a building or part of a building occupied by or intended for the occupancy of one (1) or more individuals. See Indiana Code 36-1-22-4
