Terms Used In Iowa Code 12C.12
- Depository: means a bank or a credit union in which public funds are deposited under this chapter. See Iowa Code 12C.1
- public funds: means public funds as defined in section 12C. See Iowa Code 12B.10C
A depository may make reasonable service charges with respect to the handling of public funds, but the service charges shall not be greater than the depository customarily requires from other depositors for similar services.
