Terms Used In Iowa Code 135L.8
- Department: means the department of inspections, appeals, and licensing. See Iowa Code 154A.1
- Grandparent: means the parent of an individual who is the parent of the pregnant minor. See Iowa Code 135L.1
- Minor: means a person under eighteen years of age who has not been and is not married. See Iowa Code 135L.1
- Parent: means one parent or a legal guardian or custodian of a pregnant minor. See Iowa Code 135L.1
The department of health and human services shall adopt rules to implement the notification procedures pursuant to this chapter including but not limited to rules regarding the documents necessary for notification of a parent or grandparent of a pregnant minor who is designated to receive notification under this chapter.
