Terms Used In Iowa Code 152B.14
- Board: means the board of hearing aid specialists. See Iowa Code 154A.1
- Board: means the board of respiratory care and polysomnography created under chapter 147. See Iowa Code 152B.1
- License: means a license issued by the state under this chapter to a hearing aid specialist. See Iowa Code 154A.1
- Respiratory care: includes "respiratory therapy" or "inhalation therapy". See Iowa Code 152B.1
- State: means a state, territory, or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. See Iowa Code 152E.3
The board shall issue a license to practice respiratory care to an applicant who has passed an examination administered by the state or a national agency approved by the board.
