 1. Be a graduate of an accredited school of optometry and meet requirements as established by rules of the board.

Terms Used In Iowa Code 154.3

  • Board: means the board of hearing aid specialists. See Iowa Code 154A.1
  • board: means the board of optometry created under chapter 147. See Iowa Code 154.1
  • License: means a license issued by the state under this chapter to a hearing aid specialist. See Iowa Code 154A.1
  • Rule: includes "regulation". See Iowa Code 4.1
  • Transcript: A written, word-for-word record of what was said, either in a proceeding such as a trial or during some other conversation, as in a transcript of a hearing or oral deposition.
 2. Present an official transcript issued by an accredited school of optometry.
 3. Pass an examination as determined by the board by rule.
