Terms Used In Iowa Code 164.7
- Animal: means a nonhuman vertebrate. See Iowa Code 164.1
- Official test: means a test for brucellosis approved for a species of designated animal by the department and to the extent applicable by the United States department of agriculture which is conducted under the supervision of, or the authorization from, the department. See Iowa Code 164.1
- Veterinarian: means a licensed accredited veterinarian authorized by the department. See Iowa Code 164.1
A veterinarian or the department shall provide a report to the owner of a designated animal showing the results of an official test conducted by a veterinarian. The report may be a copy of a test chart.
