Terms Used In Iowa Code 230.10
- mental health institute: means a mental health institute designated in section 226. See Iowa Code 230.1
- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
- Regional administrator: means the same as defined in section 225C. See Iowa Code 230.1
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
All legal costs and expenses for the taking into custody, care, investigation, and admission or commitment of a person to a state mental health institute under a finding that the person has residency in another county of this state shall be charged against the regional administrator of the person’s county of residence.
