Terms Used In Iowa Code 328.47
- Aircraft: means any contrivance now known, or hereafter invented, used or designed for navigation of or flight in the air, for the purpose of transporting persons or property, or both. See Iowa Code 328.1
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
All registration fees provided for in this chapter shall be and continue a lien against the aircraft for which said fees are payable until such time as they are paid as provided by law, with any accrued penalties.
