505.1 Insurance division created.
An insurance division is created within the department of insurance and financial services to regulate and supervise the conducting of the business of insurance in the state. The commissioner of insurance is the chief executive officer of the division. As used in this subtitle and chapter 502, “”division”” means the insurance division.
