Terms Used In Iowa Code 509.8
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
509.8 Foreign policies.
Policies of group insurance issued in other states or countries by companies organized in this state may contain any provision required by the laws of the state, territory, district, or country in which the same are issued, anything in § 509.6 to the contrary notwithstanding.
