523I.206 Cooperation with other agencies.
1. The commissioner may cooperate with any governmental law enforcement or
regulatory agency to encourage uniform interpretation and administration of this chapter and effective enforcement of this chapter and effective regulation of the sale of memorials, memorialization, and cemeteries.
2. Cooperation with other agencies may include but is not limited to:
a. Making a joint examination or investigation.
b. Holding a joint administrative hearing.
c. Filing and prosecuting a joint civil or administrative proceeding.
d. Sharing and exchanging personnel.
e. Sharing and exchanging relevant information and documents.
f. Formulating, in accordance with chapter 17A, rules or proposed rules on matters such as statements of policy, regulatory standards, guidelines, and interpretive opinions.
