- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
533A.13 License mandatory to business.
It shall be unlawful for a person to engage in the business of debt management without first
obtaining a license as required by this chapter. Any person or any owner, partner, member, officer, director, employee, agent, or representative thereof who shall willfully or knowingly engage in the business of debt management without the license required by this chapter shall be guilty of a serious misdemeanor.
