Terms Used In Iowa Code 598.42
- clerk: means clerk of the court in which the action or proceeding is brought or is pending; and the words "clerk's office" mean the office of that clerk. See Iowa Code 4.1
598.42 Notice of certain orders by clerk of court.
The clerk of the district court shall provide notice and copies of temporary or permanent
protective orders and orders to vacate the homestead entered pursuant to this chapter to the applicable law enforcement agencies and the twenty-four hour dispatcher for the law enforcement agencies, in the manner provided for protective orders under § 235F.6 or
236.5. The clerk shall provide notice and copies of modifications or vacations of these orders in the same manner.
