- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
- Writ: A formal written command, issued from the court, requiring the performance of a specific act.
663.7 Reasons endorsed.
If the writ is disallowed, the court or judge shall cause the reasons thereof to be appended
to the petition and returned to the person applying for the writ.
