902.10 Application for involuntary hospitalization.
For the purposes of chapter 229, the director of the Iowa department of corrections is
an interested person and all applicable provisions of chapter 229, relating to involuntary hospitalization, apply to persons who have been committed to the custody of the Iowa department of corrections as a result of a conviction of a public offense.
