904.319 Temporary quarters in emergency.
If the buildings at any institution under the management of the director are destroyed or
rendered unfit for habitation by reason of fire, storms, or other like causes, to such an extent that the inmates cannot be confined and cared for at the institution, the director shall make temporary provision for the confinement and care of the inmates at some other place in the state. Like provision may be made in case of an epidemic among the inmates. The reasonable cost of the change including the cost of transfer of inmates, shall be paid from any moneys in the state treasury not otherwise appropriated.
