Terms Used In Iowa Code 904.507
- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1

904.507 Escape.
An inmate of a state correctional institution who escapes from it may be arrested and
returned to the institution, by an officer or employee of a state correctional institution without any other authority than this chapter, and by any peace officer or other person on the request in writing of the superintendent or the state director.
