Terms Used In Iowa Code > Chapter 346A - County Health Centers
- Board: means the board of supervisors of the county. See Iowa Code 346A.1
- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
- Health center: means a building or buildings, together with necessary equipment, furnishings, facilities, accessories and appurtenances and the site or sites therefor used primarily for the purposes of providing centralized locations, at which a county may:a. See Iowa Code 346A.1
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
- Project: means the acquisition by purchase or construction of health centers, additions thereto and facilities therefor, the reconstruction, completion, equipment, improvement, repair or remodeling of health centers, additions thereto and facilities therefor, and the acquisition of property therefor of every kind and description, whether real, personal or mixed, by gift, purchase, lease, condemnation or otherwise and the improvement of the property.
