Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 12-1756d
- Organization: means any nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of this state and which has among its purposes the improvement of housing. See Kansas Statutes 12-1750
- Property: includes personal and real property. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
If property of which temporary possession has been transferred to an organization pursuant to Kan. Stat. Ann. § 12-1756a, and amendments thereto, is sold for unpaid taxes, an organization with temporary possession may redeem the property in the same manner as the owner and amounts paid to redeem the property shall be included as expenditures in the organization’s report to the court.
