- Joint session: When both chambers of a legislature adopt a concurrent resolution to meet together.
Said joint session may be adjourned from time to time, until the business for which it is assembled is completed. On all preliminary questions a majority of those present and voting shall be sufficient, but on the final passage of the joint ordinance there must be a majority of all the councilmen-elect of each city voting in the affirmative, to give such ordinance validity.
