Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 17-1309

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

That upon complying with the requirements of the preceding section, such corporation shall have the power to convey, by deed or otherwise, the burial lots as shown on said recorded plats for burial purposes only, in accordance with such regulations and bylaws as may be established and adopted by said corporation.
