Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 17-1327

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

Any firm, person or corporation who shall fail or refuse to comply with the provisions of this act, may be fined in any sum, not to exceed five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six months.
