Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 17-1505

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

Whenever any such telephone corporation shall have voted to come under the provisions of this act, it shall be the duty of the secretary to file a certificate of the proceedings with the secretary of state.
