- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
That in addition to the penalties provided in the preceding section, the person wrongfully or purposely injuring, damaging or impairing the usefulness of any works constructed under the terms of this act shall be liable to the improvement district for all damages occasioned by his act and for the full cost of repairing the same.
